- Position: Journeyman Bodyman (Or Apprentice Bodyman)
Rocky Mountain Collision is an ICBC accredited auto-body repair shop that serves customers throughout the East Kootenays. Rocky Mountain Collision has the largest spray paint booth in the region and is an early adopter of new technology and equipment in the autobody industry.
We are looking for an Bodyman who is interested in furthering themselves through training and development. This position offers many opportunities for growth and advancement.
NOTE: Preference is given to Journeyman Bodyman, but consideration of 2nd, or 3rd year apprentice, or to those with previous work experience in this field may be considered so please emphasize this in your cover letter / resume.
Work Schedule / Hours:
- Full time
- Consistent work hours
- Stable, ongoing work
Duties:
- Repairing and restoring damaged vehicles, Unibody and Full Frame
- Upholding the quality and standards of the services of the organization
- Completing all tasks assigned by the supervising manager
- Timely completion of all tasks as per the specified deadline
- Coordinating work related functions with co-workers
- Working in regulation of the automobile safety norms
- Able to read, write & speak fluent English
- Assist with any other duties as required by manager or supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines and complete all assigned tasks
- Clear understanding of the Collision Repair process
- Solid communication, job task planning and organizing skills.
- Attention to detail, self-motivated and flexible.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment.
- Must have own tools. Valid Drivers Licence.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials.
- Ability to work outside regular business hours, if required.
MINIMUM Requirements:
- 2 years shop experience (or equivalent)
- High school education (or equivalent)
PREFERRED Requirements:
- Journeyman Bodyman
- Apprentice Bodyman (2nd or 3rd year)
